BlueHat Mechanical has been maintaining the rooftop units on this Raleigh area Arby’s restaurant for some time.  Since we know the unit’s maintenance history, and know that the other major components are in good shape, we were able to save Arby’s some money by replacing the evaporator coil on this 10 ton Lennox L Series package unit, instead of replacing the whole unit.

To make sure we didn’t clog up their drive-through we scheduled two of our guys, Chris and Robert and the crane to arrive first thing in the morning.  They got the new coil up onto the roof and got the trucks out of the way.  Chris and Robert worked together to get the refrigerant pumped out, take apart unit, and install new condenser.  Then Robert left and Chris finished the install, recharged and started up the system, and checked all the operational parameters to make sure it was operating perfectly.
