Twenty-year veteran Technician Chris Pease and current Wake Tech student Matthew Herman speak to a class at Wake Tech. The guys were invited to share their ‘a day in the life’ stories of what it’s like to work in the HVAC and Refrigeration industry – and at BlueHat Mechanical.
Chris discussed his experience working for BlueHat Mechanical for the past 14 years and Matthew shared his experience coming from the classroom to BlueHat’s technology, communication, and integrity.
The AHR program at Wake Technical Community College is designed to provide students with the basic skills to design, install, and service air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment in residential and light commercial applications. Once they graduate, technicians may decide to pursue design work, fabrication, installation, or service work in a residential or commercial setting. Demand is great for qualified individuals in this field.
